Sometimes you just have to do it. Hunker down and make it happen.
A few weeks ago I had an interior design client from a few years ago ask me if I could help her with an update project at her house. I was doing a little interior design work on my own house as well and thought it would kind of be a piece of cake to help her out. Well, it wasn’t. It took time, and I was busy with my own projects and other clients. I wasn’t putting in the work that she deserved. One night I admitted to myself the truth, I was putting her off. So I realized I needed to hunker down and bite the bullet. Step up to the plate. I won’t say it was easy. But just making the decision was helpful towards doing what I needed to do. I set a date, and got right to work. I gave it my all and actually accomplished a tremendous amount of work. And at the end of the day, I was extremely proud of myself. I got it done. I honored my client. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. No one said it is easy. But you gotta do what you gotta do and the end result is actually extremely fulfilling.
