Master of One

I got the opportunity to spend some time celebrating Memorial Day with a good friend of mine today, and we were discussing his burgeoning career.  I commented and complimented him when I told him that I was inspired by his many talents and capabilities in so many different areas. He thanked me, but was very direct when he said, “I may be a jack of many trades, but I want to be a MASTER OF ONE.”

How does one become a MASTER OF ONE? Another friend of mine and I have been chatting about the power of just concentrating or focusing on just one thing at a time to become more proficient, productive, and efficient, When we narrow our focus, we will be able to master that one talent, often with extraordinary results.
