Clarify Your Boundaries
As a business owner, it is hard to say no to business or be vigilant about declaring your boundaries and sticking to them if what they re asking is counter to your core philosophy. I mean, after all, we are in business to get business and it is hard to make demands of our customers when customer service is key to being successful. However, it is also essential that you make it clear what you can and can’t do, or would be willing to do without compromising your brand or integrity. When you stay in a relationship too long or agree to demands from a customer you don’t respect, you will start to be resentful and do a poor job.
