After 32 extra miles out of my way due to construction, a 45 minute wait to park a mile from hike, lots of rocks, heat and steep terrain, I made it to the top to see this gorgeous waterfall. Very few things that are worthwhile are easy. We have to overcome obstacles and sometimes it seems like it would be much easier to quit.

I almost quit today (the hike, not my business) before I even got out of the car. I kept reminding myself of what I had gone through just to get to the park. That counted for something, but It still just seemed like too much work to get there. Business is like that sometimes. So I did what any good entrepreneur would do. I just kept reminding myself, "you can do this!" and eventually one step became two and two became more so that by the end of the day, I realized I had walked over 15,000 steps! That works out to be just a little more than seven miles!

Putting one foot in front of the other, practicing perseverance, and staying determined will help you reach most any goal. So don't give up next time the going gets tough. Just keep walking.
