FROM MARRAKECH TO THE DESERT
MARCH 3rd -8th / 6 Days & 5 Nights

Limited to just a small group of women looking for more in the way they travel and the way they create. Women looking for possibility, adventure, fun and experiences that will contribute to an extraordinary life.

I invite you to step outside your comfort zone and over-scheduled life to a retreat filled with possibility and creative activities that will help you discover the feelings that live inside you waiting to be shared. Come create memories, not to do lists, and experience a city shrouded in mystery and magic with an abundance of art, culture, food, color, creativity and inspiration.

This is your exclusive invitation to immerse yourself in Morocco, a 5 night, 6 day adventure MARCH 3-8 that will whisk you away to the adventure of a lifetime and connect you with your creative soul! MOROCCO.

Some things you have to experience to understand the magic. Like walking in the medina teeming with life. Looking at beautiful objects that seem to call your name in vivid color and dazzling gold as you pass. Visiting souks that entice you with brightly colored spices, ceramics, straw bags and patterned carpets. Letting go with a traditional invigorating and relaxing hamman, a ritual every Moroccan embraces regularly. Sitting on a rooftop somewhere at golden hour, listening to bells ring in the distance as the evening sky turns a lovely pink hue. Discovering what it’s like in the desert to get lost under a canopy of stars or riding a dromedary camel into the sunset (something I did with my husband and daughters in 2008).

Magic is also visiting with extraordinary local artisans and having them show you the inspiration behind their craft, visiting museums like Yves St Laurent and the Majorelle Gardens that helped shape the future of Marrakech, feasting on mouth watering aromatics, meat, vegetables and spices cooked in a tagine, listening to local musicians, and sipping wine by the fire that keeps the evening chill at bay, all of which I was able to do on my second trip to Morocco in 2019.

I want to share all of this with you, (a woman that appreciates experiences, adventure and discovery). I want to speak to your curious nature, spark your imagination, heighten your senses, and introduce you to new skills and concepts about art and creativity. I want to give you an experience to write home about… or post on social media. Your choice. If you want this too, join the limited group of eight women (because I love the intimacy of a small group) in deep meaningful conversations and a community of friendship.

Why Morocco? People have asked. It’s because it is one of the most beautiful and fascinating places I've ever been. It is steeped in history and plays homage to time honored traditions, yet modern elements stand out like a jewel to showcase the magnificence of the country. Depending on where you are, it can be chaotic and exciting or serene and hypnotic. But as anyone who has been there will tell you, Morocco will change your life, penetrate your heart and awaken your senses like no other place in the world.

I am constantly deciphering and incorporating the abstract part of life in my work with the intent to evoke emotion, bring together community, unleash the imagination, stir thoughtful reflection and give way to images of something meaningful.

My art is inspired and influenced by travel, architecture, nature and life with subtle and inspirational messages often hidden in between the layers of mixed media, textural elements and other materials.
